I looked and looked for a blog like this and didn’t find it. So, here is my stab. I like to eat out with my friends, but usually have a hard time picking where to go. Some review sites help me out, but they usually don’t say the things I want to know. Can I get in and out in an hour during lunch? Is the service indifferent? What is the waiter prettiness quotient? Can I afford to eat there? I’m only an entry level corporate flunky, I don’t have major bucks to throw around, so I need to know where I can eat well without emptying my very small bank account. I have my eye on some knee high black leather boots, and a new backpack to go hiking with, and a nicer cell phone, and a digital camera…

In order to answer these questions I plan to visit a different Little Rock restaurant every week and offer my opinion along with that of my companions. But, you say, eating out isn’t everything? You can have just as much fun and possibly better food by staying home? I’m so glad you mentioned that. I also am an amateur cook, and so will post info about good recipes I find, and how they turned out.

I plan to go through the Little Rock restaurant guide more or less alphabetically, but I will be happy to take requests… and if you would like to offer your own opinion about a particular restaurant’s worthiness I would love to see it!
